Antique Miniature Young Man Military Officer Portrait Painting John Smart, Circa 1780 Recently Added London and two more suchA fine antique miniature portrait painting, John Smart (1741 1811). The painting circa 1780. A very handsome portrait miniature of a young military officer, painted on an ivory wafer and signed "Smart" to the lower right hand side, the painting is housed in the original brass frame with a hinged hanging hook to the top. Original glass to the front and rear, the rear having the monogram of the young sitter. The painting is in very good condition indeed.
