The booklet was donated by the uncle of the soldier in question on March 31, 1935. After he died the booklet was probably returned to the family where a photo of him was added with the date on which he died. It can be clearly seen that he was a leutnant in division Grossdeutschland, well distinguished soldier (EK2, EK1, Pka) died July 5, 1943.
